The Union has as its top priority, the training, education, and skill level of its Members. In joint cooperation with our contractors, we offer education programs designed to increase the knowledge and efficiency of our members.
MORE COURSE EVENTS
Generations of workers have worked for and volunteered their time to create and maintain a strong union. We've come a long way since 1903, when the hourly rate was $1.07 per hour. But a union is about a lot more than wage increases. We have played a positive role in raising safety levels, benefits, providing apprenticeship training and respect for workers on the job.
